In two of them we found laying workers. These were hives from new queens that were apparently rejected. The hives I ended up with were one that was a fairly small but growing colony and one that looked really healthy and fast-growing. Hive #1 is the small one and Hive #2 is the bigger one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Got five frames installed in the center of each hive body and left them with a little less than a quart of 1:1 sugar water each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They don&#8217;t take checks for payment.
